About us

Al-Kawthar Foundation is born out of Qari brothers. It all started when we recorded ourselves reading the Quran casually in 2021. Little did we know it was the beginning of many good things, not just for ourselves but for all communities in and around Tamale Ghana. The Foundation’s idea was conceived when many followers of the Qari brothers wanted to know what they could do in their own ways to impact our communities positively.

The organization was established and registered in 2021 and has since made a significant positive impact on communities. Its initiatives range from providing water wells to sponsoring students in Quran memorization. It organizes iftar projects, facilitates udhiyyah (Eid sacrifice) programs, and feeds the less privileged. Additionally, it empowers individuals through microloans, fostering independence and sustainable living.

Al-Kawthar Foundation is a dedicated charitable organization founded with the purpose of providing comprehensive support to vulnerable and underserved individuals within the community. The foundation was established on the guiding principles of empathy, generosity, and service, drawing inspiration from the core tenets of Islam that emphasize the importance of charity, community, and spiritual enrichment.
